Welcome to the home of the Coalition of Ohio Regional Districts (CORD). CORD is a non-profit association established to assist, protect and advance the interests of Ohio's Regional Water and Sewer Districts, also known as "6119 districts".
CORD was established for three primary reasons. The first is to encourage legislation favorable districts. Every year, Bills are introduced into the Ohio General Assembly which have negative consequences for regional districts. CORD will seek to modify or defeat such legislation. Conversely, CORD will seek to implement legislation advantageous to districts and their customers. such as our amendment of O.R.C 505.705, which clarified the ability of Townships to contribute money toward planning and constructing district water, sewer and storm water projects. Membership Meeting and Accounting Seminar
The Fourth Annual Membership Meeting is scheduled for Friday, Novmber 4, 2011. The day will begin with an accounting seminar presented by associate member Balestra, Harr & Scherer at 10:00 a.m., followed by lunch at 12:30 p.m. The Membership Meeting will begin after lunch.
